OUR HISTORY

Mackenzie Parr bought her first Labrador Retriever in 2019 after needing an assistance dog for herself. Aries was bought from Chanelle, at Lenimer Labradors and the obsession grew from there. Aries has since become a fully qualified assistance dog and helps Mackenzie with her diagnoses on a daily. After seeing some of her friends compete in local dog sports she decided she wanted to join in with Aries. Aries has exceeded her expectations and has competed and titled in an array of dog sports. Aries has come from both working and show lines.

Mackenzie's goal for her lines is to incorporate both working and show lines to achieve a dog that is even-tempered, of moderate build and drivey. She wants a dog with appropriate and correct structure as per the standard while ensuring the dog has good drive and energy and is not "washed out." She wants the beauty and the brains. She adores the versatility of the historical Labrador Retrievers: one that can be in the field all day and then attend a show in the evening.
